Where curiosity becomes confidence
In this stage, children are discovering themselves and the world around them. Our Younger Toddlers classroom is designed for children who are newly mobile, newly verbal, and brimming with curiosity. Here, warm relationships and predictable routines help young learners feel safe and secure while they explore, communicate, and begin to build independence.
Our Approach
We follow The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers, and Two, a research-based framework that supports learning through hands-on exploration, relationships, and everyday experiences.
Toddlers learn best through consistent, meaningful interactions. Teachers intentionally build language, socialization, emotional understanding, gross and fine motor development into their daily routines – during play, meals, diapering, and transitions. These experiences help children begin to express needs, follow simple expectations, and confidently engage with others.

Social-Emotional Learning at the Core
Social-emotional development is at the heart of our childcare programs. Before they are expected to participate in group activities or follow classroom routines, children must first learn how to feel safe, understood, and connected. Our teachers focus on building strong, trusting relationships that encourage children to explore their environment with confidence.

A Typical Day
We structure our toddler’s day so that each part of the day supports learning and growth. Using The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers, and Two, teachers intentionally design daily experiences that help children build skills through repetition, interaction, and exploration.
Learning is not separate from the day – it happens in every moment. These daily experiences help toddlers gain the confidence, self-regulation, and curiosity they need to be successful as they move into Preschool and Pre-K.
