Works collaboratively with their teaching partner to foster a safe, welcoming and developmentally appropriate learning environment where all students can thrive. Responsible for delivering our instructional program and carrying out all planning, supervision and assessment of students in accordance with the Center’s mission. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education; possesses a deep understanding of the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development of infants, toddlers and preschoolers; and demonstrates the ability to build relationships with children, families, other teachers, and administrative staff.

Responsible for assisting the teacher with all aspects of the learning environment, such as: creating a safe and nurturing environment for students; doing administrative paperwork; attending meetings; communicating with parents on a daily basis; supervising staff; and preparing food. Also assists in the coordination of developmentally appropriate curriculum and programming for the classroom.
